We are honored to share a special invitation we recently received from one of our young participants, Matthew James Abatti.

Matthew is currently in 8th grade at Frank Wright Middle School and is participating in Imperial FFA for the first time this year. As part of his FFA journey, he has taken on the responsibility of raising a Market Turkey for exhibition at the California Midwinter Fair.

In his own words:

My name is Matthew James Abatti. I am in 8th grade at Frank Wright Middle School. This is my first year in Imperial FFA and my first year showing an animal at the California Midwinter Fair. I have chosen to do a Market Turkey. I have spent a lot of time cleaning, feeding, and caring for my turkey and have connected with my roots.
I would like to invite you to the California Midwinter Fair to watch the Turkey Show on Friday, March 14th at 8:30 am.

We are very proud of Matthew for his dedication, responsibility, and hard work. Raising and showing livestock requires commitment, patience, and passion. He is clearly demonstrating each of these qualities.

The Turkey Show will take place at the California Midwinter Fair on Friday, March 14th at 8:30 am.

Thank you, Matthew, for your thoughtful invitation. We are cheering you on and celebrating this exciting milestone in your FFA journey.
