My Will to Change: Support for Recovery
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center offers the My Will to Change program to support individuals facing substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, or co occurring mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. The program provides a safe and compassionate environment for participants to explore their challenges and work toward meaningful change.
A Program Designed for You
Whether you are struggling with substance use, behavioral addictions such as gambling, or mental health challenges, the program addresses these issues holistically. Participants are guided through structured sessions that combine education, peer support, and skill building to reduce the risk of relapse and encourage healthier coping strategies.
Compassionate Guidance
We are more than a support group. We are a community of people who genuinely care. Facilitators and peers provide encouragement, understanding, and practical tools to help each individual navigate the path toward recovery.
Join the Weekly Support Group
Support groups are held weekly on Thursdays at 1 PM. For more information or to take the first step, contact the center by phone at (760) 592-4066 or email info@ivlgbt.org.

The My Will to Change program helped me face my addiction with confidence. The weekly meetings and supportive facilitators made me feel understood and motivated.
I learned strategies to cope with triggers and connect with others who understand what I am going through. It feels amazing to have a safe space to grow.
