Discover Yourself: LGBTQ+ Youth and Adult Support
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center now offers LGBTQ+ Youth and Adult Support Groups, providing a unique experience not available anywhere else in the Imperial Valley. The groups are separated not only by the age of participants but also by the age of the facilitators. The youth group is led by a youth, and the adult group is led by an adult.
A Safe Place for Everyone
Whether you are questioning, know but have not come out yet, or are fully out, these groups are for you. Both groups run activities that may appear to be fun but are designed to help participants discover and understand who they really are.
Free and Confidential
Participation in the groups is completely free and confidential. If you are unsure about joining, do not hesitate to come in and talk. It is as simple as calling or emailing the center to get started.

The youth support group helped me meet people my age who understand me. The activities were fun, but I also learned a lot about myself.
I love the adult group. The facilitator is so supportive and it feels good to share my experiences in a safe and welcoming space.
I facilitate the Adult LGBT Support Group every Monday and Wednesday. I find it so fulfilling to support members of my community when they need it most and love when they attend. <3
