At the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center, we believe in the power of community support and the lasting impact it can have on young people. Recently, we received a heartfelt thank you note from one of our youth participants, Matthew Abatti, and we would like to share how your support continues to make a difference.

Through participation in his FFA project, this student was able to gain valuable life skills including responsibility, time management, and proper animal care. Opportunities like these help young people grow both personally and academically while building confidence and preparing them for future success.

In his note, Matthew expresses deep gratitude for our sponsorship and encouragement he received. He shares how meaningful the experience has been and how it has motivated him to continue pursuing his goals in agriculture. He also recognized the importance of having supporters who believe in students and the value of education.

Stories like this are a reminder that every contribution, whether financial, emotional, or through mentorship, plays a role in shaping brighter futures. We are proud of our youth and honored to stand alongside them as they grow, learn, and achieve their goals.

To our community, thank you for making moments like this possible.
