Looking for something exciting to do this summer? The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center is excited to welcome teens ages 12–17 to YAMS (Youth Anger Management Services) Summer Camp 2026, a free summer program designed to help young people build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and have fun along the way!

From June 29 through July 24, 2026, participants will enjoy a welcoming and supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and connect with others. Best of all, the program includes free lunch and snacks every day, plus opportunities for field trips and special activities throughout the summer.

What Will Teens Learn?

YAMS focuses on helping young people develop important life skills that can support them at home, at school, and in their relationships with others. Participants will explore topics such as:

• Emotional Intelligence
• Communication Skills
• Healthy Coping Skills
• Conflict Resolution
• Confidence Building
• Self-Esteem

Using an evidence-based curriculum, our team creates a positive space where teens can learn practical skills while having fun and making new friends.

Daily Schedule

The program runs Monday through Friday with the following schedule:

• Drop-Off: 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM
• Program Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Pick-Up: 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM

That’s five hours each day filled with learning, activities, connection, and summer fun!
