June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the strength, joy, resilience, and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community. At the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center, we are proud to stand with our community this month and every month.

Pride is more than a celebration. It is a reminder that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, affirmed, and supported. It is a time to honor those who came before us, uplift those who are still finding their voice, and continue building a future where LGBTQ+ people can live openly and authentically.

Here in the Imperial Valley, we know how important community support can be. Whether someone is coming out, seeking resources, looking for connection, navigating a difficult situation, or simply needing a safe space, the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center is here. No one should have to feel alone.

This Pride Month, we encourage everyone to celebrate in ways that feel meaningful to them. That may mean attending a community event, learning more about LGBTQ+ history, supporting LGBTQ+ friends and family, or simply taking a moment to honor your own journey.
