YAMS: Youth Anger Management Services

The YAMS program (Youth Anger Management Services) is designed to help young individuals recognize, understand, and manage their anger and emotional responses in healthy, constructive ways. Through a combination of group therapy sessions, individual counseling, and skill-building exercises, youth participants gain tools to navigate conflict, reduce impulsive behavior, and improve communication.

Led by experienced facilitators, including CAMF (Certified Anger Management Facilitators), CDVF (Certified Domestic Violence Facilitators), and CEIC (Certified Emotional Intelligence Coaches).

As part of the program, participants complete the EQ‑i:YV (Emotional Quotient Inventory: Youth Version) both before and after participation. This validated assessment measures key areas of emotional intelligence, such as impulse control, stress management, and interpersonal skills. The results help tailor individualized support and track each participant’s emotional growth over time.

YAMS provides a structured, supportive environment where youth can express themselves safely, develop positive coping strategies, and grow into emotionally intelligent, self-regulated individuals.
