The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center prides itself on the wide variety of programs we offer to support the diverse needs of our community. Our programs are designed to promote personal growth, emotional well being, and healthy relationships for individuals, youth, and families alike. We strive to provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where everyone can feel supported.

All programs are available in person and several are offered via video call to provide convenience and accessibility. We encourage participants to explore the options we offer and select the program that best suits their needs.

At the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center, we are more than a resource center. We are a community. We are here to listen, support, and empower you on your journey toward emotional health, personal growth, and stronger connections. The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center provides family counseling to help families address challenges and improve communication. Appointments are available with trained and professionally certified facilitators who offer guidance tailored to each family.

My Will to Change

My Will to Change

The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center offers the My Will to Change program to support individuals facing substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, or co occurring mental health challenges. Weekly support groups provide guidance, peer support, and practical tools to help participants work toward recovery and healthier coping strategies.

Youth Anger Management

Youth Anger Management

The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center offers youth anger management services for individuals under eighteen years old. Through group sessions, individual counseling, and skill based exercises, participants build skills in impulse control, stress management, and communication. Each youth completes the EQ i YV Emotional Quotient Inventory Youth Version to help tailor support and measure emotional growth.

The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center is expanding its free Cognitive Behavioral Therapy services by offering one on one sessions with a certified therapist that are scheduled around your availability. Access to mental health support is now easier than ever.

IVLGBT Certified Batterers Intervention Program

The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center now offers a probation-certified and court-recognized Batterers Intervention Program that helps participants build accountability, manage anger, and develop healthier relationship skills through structured weekly classes and guided support.
