The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center prides itself on the wide variety of programs we offer to support the diverse needs of our community. Our programs are designed to promote personal growth, emotional well being, and healthy relationships for individuals, youth, and families alike. We strive to provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where everyone can feel supported.
All programs are available in person and several are offered via video call to provide convenience and accessibility. We encourage participants to explore the options we offer and select the program that best suits their needs.
At the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center, we are more than a resource center. We are a community. Parenting Class
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center provides parenting support to help families build stronger connections, understand children’s emotional and behavioral needs, and gain confidence. Contact the center at (760) 592 4066 or info@ivlgbt.org

HIV/AIDS/STD/STI

Family Counseling
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center provides family counseling to help families address challenges and improve communication. Appointments are available with trained and professionally certified facilitators who offer guidance tailored to each family.
My Will to Change
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center offers the My Will to Change program to support individuals facing substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, or co occurring mental health challenges. Weekly support groups provide guidance, peer support, and practical tools to help participants work toward recovery and healthier coping strategies.
Victim Violence
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center provides confidential support for victims of violence, including physical, emotional, psychological, verbal, sexual, and financial abuse. Call (760) 592-4066 or email info@ivlgbt.org

Youth Anger Management
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center offers youth anger management services for individuals under eighteen years old. Through group sessions, individual counseling, and skill based exercises, participants build skills in impulse control, stress management, and communication. Each youth completes the EQ i YV Emotional Quotient Inventory Youth Version to help tailor support and measure emotional growth.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center is expanding its free Cognitive Behavioral Therapy services by offering one on one sessions with a certified therapist that are scheduled around your availability. Access to mental health support is now easier than ever.
Emotional Intelligence Marriage Counseling
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center now offers a program to help couples develop emotional intelligence, improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection for healthier, lasting relationships.
Emotional Intelligence in Anger Management
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center now offers an Anger Management Program focused on emotional intelligence, helping participants understand anger, regulate emotions, and build healthier communication skills in a supportive and judgment free environment.
IVLGBT Certified Batterers Intervention Program
The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center now offers a probation-certified and court-recognized Batterers Intervention Program that helps participants build accountability, manage anger, and develop healthier relationship skills through structured weekly classes and guided support.
