Joining the Transgender Support Group was life changing. It feels amazing to be in a place where I am understood and accepted for who I am.

Support and Community for Transgender Individuals

Transitioning is easier than it was years ago, but that does not mean it is any easier on the individual. The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center offers a Transgender Support Group led by a proud transgender facilitator.

A Safe and Supportive Space

Our facilitator is available to talk, lead activities, and help participants feel more comfortable being themselves. There is never a reason for anyone to feel uncomfortable in their own body, and the center understands the challenges that can come with transitioning.

The Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center offers unique LGBTQ+ Youth and Adult Support Groups led by peers, providing a safe and confidential space to explore identity and self discovery. Participation is free, and interested individuals can call or email the center to get started.
