Certified Domestic Violence Batterers Intervention Program
Certified Domestic Violence Batterers Intervention Program
This court-accepted program is designed to support individuals in recognizing the early signs of anger and teaches effective strategies to manage emotions, resolve conflict, and build healthier relationships. Classes are held weekly and are structured to provide both accountability and guidance in a supportive, educational environment.
What is Domestic Violence?
Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior used by one partner to gain or maintain control over another in a relationship. It can take many forms—including physical, emotional, psychological, sexual, and financial abuse. Domestic violence affects people of all genders, sexual orientations, ages, and backgrounds. It not only harms the individuals directly involved but also impacts families, children, and entire communities.
Who Does It Affect?
Domestic violence does not discriminate. It occurs in all communities—regardless of race, religion, socioeconomic status, or identity. While women are disproportionately affected, men and LGBTQ+ individuals also face intimate partner violence at alarming rates.
How Our Program Helps:
Our Batterers Intervention Program empowers participants to:
- Understand the root causes of their behavior
- Identify triggers and warning signs of anger or aggression
- Learn non-violent communication and de-escalation techniques
- Rebuild empathy, accountability, and emotional regulation
- Cultivate healthier habits and relationships
Led by certified facilitators, our program promotes long-term behavioral change through education, group discussions, and guided self-reflection. The goal is not just to stop the violence but to transform the way participants think, react, and connect with others—ultimately breaking the cycle of abuse.
We believe that change is possible when people are given the right tools, support, and a safe space to grow.
